Our trip to First Watch? Absolutely worth dragging ourselves out of bed for. First Watch is another one of these dumb ass brunch places that close at three PM. Yet somehow I still want to try it out, go figure. We went on a busy weekend morning, the kind where you question your life choices because the wait’s over a fucking hour, but somehow it was still a great damn experience. The place was packed, yet it didn’t feel like a chaotic breakfast mosh pit. Plenty of room, good energy, and we were greeted right away with big smiles and the the smell of breakfast. Now let’s talk food, because holy hell. The bacon and cheese omelet with potatoes and whole grain toast with strawberry jelly? Yum, yum, and more damn yum. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and portions so generous you start questioning your waistband choices halfway through. The Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl was surprisingly incredible, healthy, filling, and not tasting like punishment. And then… the Million Dollar Bacon. ...
