Hurricane BTW (Burgers, Tacos, Wings) is a solid little joint in Gainesville that keeps it simple and gets the damn job done. Nothing fancy, just good, straightforward food and a staff that’s pleasant as hell and actually seems happy you showed up. My family and I went full send and ordered garlic parmesan wings, deep-fried pickles (because obviously), a single burger, and boneless mild wings. The food came out fast as shit, which is always a win when you’re starving and slightly cranky. And honestly? It was pretty damn good for the price. They’ve got a ridiculous lineup of wing sauces, so if you can’t find one you like, that’s on you. Plus fries and waffle fries to go with your goodies, because regular fries are great, but waffle fries just hit different. It’s science or some shit. There’s a nice outdoor patio for those “Florida weather isn’t trying to kill us today” days, and a smaller indoor dining area that’s cozy without feeling like you’re eating in someone’s closet.
