Saucy By KFC - Gainesville, Florida


 

Saucy! by KFC just popped up in Gainesville, FL, and holy shit, this place actually slaps. This ain’t your regular, boring-ass KFC, this is like KFC finally got their shit together and decided to go all in on tenders, sauces, and making food that doesn’t suck balls!

First off, the food. The mac and cheese is creamy as hell, like someone’s badass grandma came in and said, “Move the hell over, I got this.” It’s rich, cheesy, and not that dry, sad crap you regret ordering. The three-piece tenders? Damn near perfect. Crispy, juicy, and actually seasoned, imagine that fucking shit.

Now let’s talk about the sauces, because holy fucking hell. There’s a ridiculous amount of them, and mixing them is where the magic happens. That buffalo + classic BBQ combo? Straight up fucking dangerous. I ended up grabbing extra sauces like a greedy little sauce goblin just to try every damn one.

The Chickitos (yeah, their taco thing) are sneaky as hell. I doubled up sauces on each one like a damn genius, and it paid off. That cabbage crunch? Hell yes. Without it, it’d still be good, but with it? Next level shit that makes my junk tingle.

The vibe? Surprisingly cool as hell. Bright colors everywhere, and at night those pink lights make the place look like a fast food party spot. It actually has personality instead of that bland, corporate “eat your food and get out” vibe.

And that peach mango drink? Goddamn. That shit is stupid good. You’ll finish it way too fast and be pissed you didn’t order a second one.

Service was fast as hell too, no waiting around forever while your hunger turns into rage. Food came out quick, hot, and on point and the employees seemed to be busy and not standing around farting into a cup.

Bottom line: Saucy! isn’t just another KFC, it’s KFC finally giving a damn. Great food, badass sauces, cool vibe, and overall just a fun as hell spot. If you’re in Gainesville, go check it out, you’d be stupid as hell not to. In fact, if you do not go, I will kick you in the family jewels.

Woodyard Grill - Newberry, Florida

  The Woodyard Grill, what can I say, the place has been around for a bit, does it have it's shit together? I went for lunch and was honestly impressed as hell with what they did to the building. It’s nice, inviting, and doesn’t look like a place you’d regret walking into. When you pull into the parking lot, the smell alone punches you in the face (in the best possible way) and makes you want to order one of everything like some kind of hungry fucking maniac. The open bar and outdoor patio? Absolute badass addition. Newberry needed that shit. We ended up eating inside, and the place was busy as hell , which is always a good sign. Skip's Delicatessen - Lake Butler, Florida

Skip’s Delicatessen is hands-down one of my favorite damn places to eat in Lake Butler. I finally made it there for lunch with some friends, and let me tell you, I should’ve hauled my ass there sooner. The menu is big as hell, packed with more sandwich options than you can reasonably process without short-circuiting. Every kind of lunch meat you can think of is ready to go. Turkey? Yup. Ham? Obviously. Roast beef? You bet your hungry ass. They’ve also got meatball subs and Italian sausage subs that’ll make you question every sad desk lunch you’ve ever eaten. They’ve got salads if you’re feeling responsible, cookies if you’re not, and a bunch of other good stuff to round it out. But let’s talk about the real MVP, the chips.
