Tortillas Tex Mex


Tortillas Tex-Mex is a damn standout spot in Newberry that absolutely delivers. The food is packed with flavor, especially the tacos, which are easily some of the best freakin’ tacos around. The kitchen clearly knows what the hell they’re doing, because every dish comes out tasting fresh as hell, bold as a badass, and perfectly freakin’ prepared.

The restaurant itself is impressive as shit, in the best way. Spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. From the slick polished concrete floors inside to the stylish outdoor patio, the atmosphere feels modern yet chill as hell. It’s a great place to kick back, whether you’re meeting friends for dinner or yelling at the TV during the game.

Service is consistently friendly and fast, no long-ass waits, and the staff actually makes you feel welcome instead of rushed. They’ve also got a solid drink selection to wash all that fucking deliciousness down. And if you’re in a hurry, their carryout option makes it easy as hell to pre-order and grab your food.

If you already love Mexican food, you’re gonna be happy as hell. If you’re new to Tex-Mex, Tortillas is the perfect damn place to dive in.

  The Woodyard Grill, what can I say, the place has been around for a bit, does it have it's shit together? I went for lunch and was honestly impressed as hell with what they did to the building. It’s nice, inviting, and doesn’t look like a place you’d regret walking into. When you pull into the parking lot, the smell alone punches you in the face (in the best possible way) and makes you want to order one of everything like some kind of hungry fucking maniac. The open bar and outdoor patio? Absolute badass addition. Newberry needed that shit. We ended up eating inside, and the place was busy as hell , which is always a good sign. Skip's Delicatessen - Lake Butler, Florida

Skip’s Delicatessen is hands-down one of my favorite damn places to eat in Lake Butler. I finally made it there for lunch with some friends, and let me tell you, I should’ve hauled my ass there sooner. The menu is big as hell, packed with more sandwich options than you can reasonably process without short-circuiting. Every kind of lunch meat you can think of is ready to go. Turkey? Yup. Ham? Obviously. Roast beef? You bet your hungry ass. They’ve also got meatball subs and Italian sausage subs that’ll make you question every sad desk lunch you’ve ever eaten. They’ve got salads if you’re feeling responsible, cookies if you’re not, and a bunch of other good stuff to round it out. But let’s talk about the real MVP, the chips.
