Piesanos - Stone Fired Pizza
My family and I hit up Piesanos for lunch, and damn, it did not disappoint. The place was busy as hell, but we only had to wait about five minutes for a table, which honestly feels like winning the lottery when you’re hungry and staring at other people’s food.
The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and the bar looks like the kind of place where you could sit down, have a few drinks, and forget about your responsibilities for a minute. The booths are spacious as hell too, so you’re not crammed in there bumping elbows with strangers like some awkward family reunion.
The staff? Super nice, attentive, and actually looked put together, not a hot mess in sight. They’ve got a full-blown menu: pizza, sandwiches, pasta entrees, and a bunch of other delicious shit that’ll make you overthink your order.
We started with the garlic rolls and holy crap… those things are dangerous. Slathered in garlic butter and Parmesan cheese, but somehow not soggy. Perfectly firm, warm, and basically begging you to eat six of them and regret nothing.
I went with a lunch special: house salad, a slice of cheese pizza, and half a meatball sub. The price was decent, it did not make me feel like I was getting screwed without lube The salad was fresh, the pizza tasted amazing, and the meatball sub was excellent, like, “why am I this fucking happy over a sandwich?” good.
They’ve got a kids menu too, so bring the little crumb-snatchers if you’ve got ’em.
I highly recommend this place. Seriously, go there. Like… get in your car and go eat some damn garlic rolls.
