I finally checked out Las Carretas Mexican Restaurant, and honestly, this place feels like somebody took a regular Mexican restaurant and said, “You know what? Let’s actually make this shit fun.” The second you walk in, the energy smacks you in the fucking face. Bright colors everywhere, music going, people laughing loud as hell, giant plates flying out of the kitchen nonstop, it actually feels alive. Too many restaurants nowadays feel like depressing waiting rooms with overpriced shitty ass food. This place has personality, and you can tell people genuinely enjoy being there instead of silently staring at their phones waiting for the check to come while the waiter is jerking off in the back. Now let’s talk about the food, because holy shit, the portions alone deserve respect. They are not playing around here.
